Business 20 (B20)
The private sector, as the main driver of economic activity, has a key role to play in achieving strong, sustainable and balanced growth. The B20 leads engagement with G20 governments on behalf of the international business community.
The B20’s 2014 summit was held in Sydney on 16-18 July, and was attended by Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Treasurer Joe Hockey and Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb. The B20 presented its communique to the Prime Minister after its summit.
The B20 this year has been organised by the Australian B20 Leadership Group, chaired by Mr Richard Goyder AO, Managing Director and CEO of Wesfarmers.
Further information about the B20 is available at their official website.
Please note: The B20 is an independent group. The Australian Government and/or G20 do not control or necessarily endorse the material on the linked B20 website.
